I was born in 1942. Went to high school in Gainesville, Florida. Got a BA from Emory University. Spent 4 years in the Air Force. Then got a PhD from the University of Florida. Worked for 10 years in Tallahassee in educational research. Went back to school in Gainesville for a few years and then got a job teaching at SPC. I've been here since 1987. I'm married, but have no children. My wife and I like to bike (I've been on several trips over 1000 miles), hike, exercise and travel.
