I have both a B.S. in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University and an M.S. in Computing Technology in Education from Nova Southeastern University. My research interests are: Connectivism, Mobile Learning, and Learning Ecosystems. I believe that the instructor creates the initial learning environment. The students and the instructor, through active engagement with the learning environment, maintain and evolve the environment. Active engagement is based on the idea of, "we participate, therefore we learn." This idea stems from connectivism and John Seely Brown's work in the field of social constructivism.
