Professor Robert Sherman
Applied Ethics

 

Professor Sherman holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy as well as a Master of Divinity and Master of Theology degree from St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary, Boynton Beach, Florida. After graduate studies he worked at a residential youth center, Castlerigg Manor, in Keswick, England and then a career in pastoral ministry. He pursued studies in Canon Law at Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Later careers include organizational development and Human Resources. In July 2005, Mr. Sherman accepted a position as Executive Director of St. Anthony's Hospital Foundation. Professor Sherman has been teaching at the college for 15 years. He is a member of the Ethics Committee at St. Anthony's Hospital.  Professor Sherman is married to Pamela and together they have four children, one of whom is a senior at Florida State University. He enjoys classical and jazz music, reading.
