PhD in Adult Education / English as a Second Language, by Auburn University, Alabama - USA, in addition to a Master's degree in Comparative Literature, and Bachelor in Portuguese with Qualification in Teaching English Language, both from the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil. Currently is Adjunct Faculty at Saint Petersburg College. Also, is professor of English Language Development and Portuguese Language.
