Sherri Reyes attended the University of Florida, where she graduated with High Honors with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Sociology, and she earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical and Community Psychology from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She then completed all her doctoral coursework in Clinical Psychology at Florida State University, and specialized in Clinical Neuropsychology.
Mrs. Reyes has worked in psychology and healthcare for twenty years. She enjoyed working in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including inpatient acute care hospitals, residential treatment centers, rehabilitation hospitals, outpatient clinics and private practices, and a shelter home. She has provided individual and group psychotherapy, and completed psychological and neuropsychological testing in inpatient and outpatient settings with patients experiencing psychiatric disorders, as well and brain and spinal cord injuries. She has worked with a police department assessing psychiatric crises in the community and determining needs for hospitalization. Mrs. Reyes has also taught psychology at Florida State University and Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno, Nevada.
In addition to providing direct patient care, Mrs. Reyes has served as a Director Business Development and Chief Operating Officer , and as a Chief Executive Officer at several hospitals in several states, including Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Missouri, and Massachusetts.
