Mrs. Kathleen Englebert

Hi everyone, and thank you for reading about me. I have lived in Tampa Bay off and on for the past 20 years. I earned my BSN at Palm Beach Atlantic University (West Palm Beach, FL) in 2007. And I earned my MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner focus from the George Washington University (in Washington, DC) in 2012. I have taught students as a nursing clinical instructor both in Virginia and Florida.
My background is primarily focused in cardiology with several years as a floor nurse in telemetry, pre and post-catheterization, post-open heart, etc. I currently practice part-time with a local Bay Area Cardiologist/Electrophysiologist. I love to share my passion with my students. I know my groups come from various backgrounds, and I strive to understand how each pupil learns the best. I try to meet them where they are to get them where they need to be to be successful in the nursing profession.
When I'm not working, I will most likely be with my wonderful husband Sam and my golden retriever (son) Ben. We love to go for runs to stay fit. We also enjoy camping and hiking when we can get away from the traffic!
Looking forward to another great semester!
