Dr. Stephen Poteet
I graduated with a PhD in economics from the University of South Florida. I have recently published a paper regarding U.S. health insurance in Applied Health Economics and Health Policy. I have worked with large amounts of data using a number of different statistical models. I have written literature reviews, reports, and academic articles, and been able to present my original research at the Euroqol Third Academy Meeting, the 7th Meeting of the International Academy of Health Preference Research Glasgow and the 8th Meeting of the International Academy of Health Preference Research. This has allowed me to expand my professional and technical communication skills and to learn from some of the leaders in the health economics field. I was also a Research Assistant at the Center for Urban Transportation Research, where I greatly enjoyed working as the head assessor for the SHRP2 Naturalistic Driving Study, and project lead for the 2013 Florida Rider Training report. These experiences have allowed me to expand my knowledge and gain a diverse perspective.
