Having over 20 years of HIM experience I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others and mentoring folks in the aspects of the HIM spectrum. Servant Leadership is my focus in providing quality mentorship to others. I have trained HIM professionals in all aspect of the Medical Coding Spectrum and for the past 9 years provided audit and education services in the coding spectrum. I am retired from the Florida National Guard and during that time provided medical aid and logistical support. Previous to teaching at Saint Pete College I have taught at Pasco Herando State College. I have a B.S. in Business Administration from UOP conferred 2007 and a Masters in Management and Leadership from Liberty  University in conferred 2013. I also have a CCS attained in 2001 and CPC attained in 2010. I enjoy helping others and volunteer as well with Metropolitian Ministries. I am currently a hospital outpatient facility manager at a academic institution in North Carolina.
