Hello, my name is Scott Pelletier, and I have been with St. Petersburg College since 2013. I serve as the Lead EMT Instructor for the EMS Program at SPC. My career in the EMS field has been diverse and expansive, spanning back to 1993. I retired from the United States Air Force in 2013 after serving for 22 years, primarily as a flight medic. In that role, I cared for patients with injuries or illnesses during peacetime, global conflicts, national emergencies, and humanitarian responses in both routine and challenging environments.

Additionally, I have served the nation's wounded warriors through the Department of Veterans Affairs and have worked as a Paramedic with Hillsborough County Fire Rescue. Overall, I have over 30 years of experience in this field. Giving back to the profession that has been my passion is very important to me. As an alumnus of the SPC EMS Program, I am committed to providing education, mentorship, and support to develop the next generation of EMS providers.

As an educator dedicated to student success, I will work with you to help you achieve your educational and career goals. I ask that you put in the effort, commit to your objectives, succeed in your assessments, and communicate any challenges you encounter along the way. Together, we can help you become the best compassionate, professional, and skilled pre-hospital clinician possible.
