Central University of Puerto Rico, B.A. in Educational Technology, and M.A. in Guidance and Counseling.
University of South Florida, Graduate credits in Adult Education.
Background:
20 years experince as a College Professor, 10 years as a Corporate Trainer, 4 years as an Academic Counselor, and 25 years of experince working in the Pharmaceutical, Electronic and Medical Devices industry conbined. I have worked as a Manufacturing and Quality Supervisor, Group Leader, QA Incoming and QA Release Supervisor, Corporate Trainer and currenlty working as a Complaint Product Especialist.
Personal interests:
Writting poetry, play basketball, Valleyball, and watch football, and Hockey. I like to exercise, running, walking, cycling, dancing, reading, and being around family and nature.
As a college instructor, my goal is to be a facilitator, share my experiences, knowledge and skills with students. It's important to me be prepared and present a class where students find it relevant, interesting and usefull. I apply diffrent teaching methods to facilitatate the learning, to gain knowledge, understand the material, and feel engage in class.It's my commitment to help the students to recognize and value the positive things they posses as human beings, and value the opportunity is of being in college.
Finally, I always welcome ideas, and suggestions. I am very fortunate to be able to teach but also to learn from students their life experinces, challenges, success and more.
