I am a graduate of Florida State University, the University of South Florida, and have done post-graduate work at Oxford University, England.  I  taught American, European, and World History for the Pinellas County School System for a 36 years before my retirement in 2008. I have also been an adjunct at SPC since 1981.

My teaching philosophy is based on academic analysis and interpretation, and student self-reliance.  The knowledge of history and its application are essential to the human experience.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading history, traveling, playing golf and spending time with my wife, my children, and my grandchildren.
