My educational background includes Licensed Practical Nursing training in 1981.  As a new LPN I worked on a medical-surgical floor for approximately 6 years then obtained my Associate Degree and became a Registered Nurse.  I graduated from the University of Tampa in 1999 with my BSN and from the University of Phoenix in 2006 with an MSN.  My nursing background includes Emergency Room, Critical Care, and Intensive Care.  I have been practicing nursing for 28 years.  I am currently enrolled at the University of Tampa in the ARNP program.  I became a clinical instructor in 2003.
