Jared Morgenstein

My name is Jared Morgenstein and I am a Professor of Ethics at the Applied Ethics Institute of St. Petersburg College. Prior to this I taught history at Title I high schools in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties. I also formerly served as the faculty sponor for Ethics & Debate at USF St. Petersburg through the Bishop Center for Ethical Leadership. My primary interests as an educator are designing lessons that foster strong analytical skills, allowing students to better understand complex and controversial issues, and encouraging them to critically examine the world around them and their place in it. Students who take my class should expect a focus on engagement and direct participation. They should also expect to leave the class with more questions than answers.
