I joined the Clearwater campus' Learning Support Center staff in 2003. Many years ago, I attended the Clearwater campus, and graduated from SPJC. I then travelled to Florida State University where I received my bachelor's degree in English and communications. After working for many years in local recreation and parks management, I returned to the classroom. In 2005 I received a Master's in Public Administration (MPA) from USF.

I am happy to be a part of the SPC instructional team. I enjoy teaching college preparatory English. I believe solid language skills are of critical importance for all adults to be successful in life, and I am determined to impart that belief to students. I strive to meet the diverse needs of the beginning college student, and I intend to continue to develop my professional skills to ulimately improve the classroom experience for my students.
