I have a background as a research scientist in Australia and the US, including over 10 years as a Senior Biological Scientist and Senior Chemist in the College of Medicine and College of Pharmacy at the University of Florida. I have also worked as a Systems Engineer and a Polycom Videoconfencing Systems Engineer for a Fortune 100 technology company (Tech Data), and I had my own computer consulting business. 
I currently work for Hillsborough County schools as a high school teacher, teaching Chemistry, Honours Chemistry, and AP Chemistry. I also teach occasional college classes in Computer Science, Physiology, Biochemistry, and some Education classes.
I have degrees from various institutions in Australia and the US in Zoology, Parasitology, Computer Information Science, and Science Education.
