Ms. Michelle Mann
Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, I am committed to our community. This is my home and being an educator allows me the opportunity to give back to my community and the students I serve.
As an educator, I believe in the value of cultivating a classroom community and promoting positive relationships and interactions. Strategies and activities that promote student success are vital to post-secondary educational institutions. I desire for my students to be successful. Motivating and encouraging my students to set goals and helping them reach them creatives a relationship. I wholeheartedly believe that trust, respect, honesty and care.
I am a graduate of Florida International University, Miami, Florida and Bethune Cookman University, Daytona Beach, Florida. I have more that 15 years of higher education instructional experience. My educational and professional experience has afforded me the opportunity to specialize in the areas of adult education, post-secondary education and adult learners.
My teaching philosophy is plain and simple! I believe, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” - Maimonides
Your education will change your life, your family and your community! I am humbled to a part of your educational journey.
