I have taught and been an administrator at SPC for 30 years in the communications and social and behavioral sciences departments. Along with teaching, I have served on many committees -- college-wide and on the Tarpon Springs and Clearwater campuses -- and from 2005-2008 I was Faculty Senate President. I have also accompanied and taught students on several study abroad programs.

From 2008-2011 I served as Academic Department Chair of Social and  Behavioral Sciences on the Clearwater Campus, where I also taught courses in political science and anthropology, and then as Director of Learning Resources until 2016. Currently, I am the Dean of Communications.

I hold B.A. and M.A. degrees in English from Florida State University, and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Barry University.

What I like most about what I do is helping students achieve their dreams. YOU are the reason I am here and I am grateful for the opportunity to help you in the classroom, on campus, and in the community. 

What I hope will happen is student success will bloom like 10,000 hopes and dreams.
