Professor Lynette Kuliyeva
This is my fourth year here at St. Petersburg College. I previously taught for 6 years at York College in Pennsylvania, and I now also teach at USF as a graduate student and teaching assistant.
I am happily married to the love of my life, and I am the mother of 5 children: Isabella is 1 year old, Emma is 3 years old, Ashlynn is 12 years old, John is 19 years old and planning on entering the military, and my oldest daughter Jessica is 22 years old and recently graduated from Penn State with a degree in film production. Her husband is graduating this year from Akron College with a degree in engineering. I also have an 11-year-old stepson who lives in Pennsylvania.
My family and I love to do anything outdoors, including biking, hiking, tennis, bike riding, roller blading, jet skiing, kayaking...the beach! We also love to play pool and go to the arcade--I am the Miss Pacman queen! I love theater and the movies; I'm actually a huge film buff and will watch literally anything. I was a youth leader and drama coach for over 15 years, and I am eager to begin doing that again at some point when my life isn't such a whirlwind.
I love literature, especially the classics, Gothic literature, Shakespeare, and British literature from all periods...and I am developing a love of Russian literature because of my Russian husband. He is planning to take me back to Moscow next year for a vacation since I have never been there.
