Ms. Nancy Kiernan
I started my Associate Degree from St. Petersburg Junior College in 1972. I did not finish my AA until 1996. After which I went to USF where I completed my Bachelor’s Degree for Mathematics Education in 1998. I completed my Master’s Degree at USF in 2004. I have been teaching Mathematics since 1998 at the high school level and at SPC as an adjunct since 2006.
My teaching philosophy focuses on active and collaborative learning; students learn by doing. Face-to-face, blended and online classes include group/team activities where students work together to master concepts. I believe that everyone can learn Mathematics given enough time and motivation. I am willing to help anyone that requests help.
My interests are swimming, camping, and taking care of my pets.
