I am married to an amazing woman and have one wonderful daughter. My first employment was teaching middle and high school mathematics for 12 years in Northeastern PA. During that time I earned my Masters in mathematics education at the
DeSales University. An opportunity arose in 2000 to work at
Clearwater Christian College, teaching college mathematics and helping to train future teachers. In the spring of 2010, I finished my PhD in mathematics education from
USF. I taught full-time at CCC until it closed in June of 2015. Since then, I had the great opportunity to return to high school, and am now the mathematics department chair at
Calvary Christian High School. I also began teaching online graduate courses for
Regent University in 2015.
I have been teaching at SPC since 2001. The courses I have taught are: MAT 1033, MAC 1105, MGF 1106, MGF 1107, and MAC 2233. I thoroughly enjoy the diverse student population that I have in my SPC courses. I look forward to the opportunity to teach you and possibly help you gain a fresh perspective on the
beautiful worlds of mathematics!
