I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Notre Dame. I also earned a M.A. in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and a B.S. in Business Administration from Ferris State University. I have numerous years of experience in the gas and electric utility industries where I held a variety of analytical positions with Florida Power Corporation and Southern Natural Gas. I worked as a Derivatives Trader and a Risk Strategy Analyst where I analyzed data, structured deals, and traded Natural Gas, Oil, Coal, and Electricity contracts. I have designed and operated a variety of statistical models to forecast and simulate what if scenarios. In addition to my professional work experience, I have been teaching since 1991.
