My name is Tom Javarinis,  please be relaxed and therefore, please call me by my first name "Tom".

Just a little about me!

I am married to a great person and her name is Angie. I have three girls who are my pride and joy (Arielle - 18, Georgette -16 & Anastasia - 7). I also have a toy poodle named Sandi.

I grew up in the Detroit metropolitan area and I reside in Brownstown Twp. I attended Detroit College of Business and received my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in Management with a minor in Accounting. Several years later, I completed my Master's Degree in Strategic Management with a minor in Leadership at Davenport University, and another Master's Degree in Accounting with emphasis in Forensics and Fraud and, immediately following that, I attended Capella University where I received my Ph.D. in Business Administration specialization in Organization and Management with a minor in Human Resources.

My professional work background includes management experience in Retail and Food Service Distribution, Aviation Management and Health Care in the capacity of department manager, merchandise manager, operations manager, general manager, human resources manager, employee development and training, employee relations, union/labor negotiations, and vice president of human capital development and operations.

I enjoy teaching.

I really enjoy working out and running, as well as swimming and doing other water activities.  I am a very active person—I love to be outdoors, play sports, and watch sports, but I also enjoy movie nights and junk food!
