After obtaining a Ph.D. in Chemistry, and after 20 years of working as an executive in the pharmaceutical industry, I have decided to refocus on helping students at St. Petersburg prepare for their own future careers.  I hope after all of the time in industry that I can give everyone a sense of what is happening in the "real world" as well as providing the opportunity to learn about the world of chemistry.

I hope that everyone who takes the classes that I teach comes away with knowledge and a feeling of what chemistry is all about, what it takes to be successful and about the rewarding careers that are possible in the sciences.
