My non-traditional educational background began at Pensacola Junior College and wound its way through the state with stops at UWF, UF, and USF. While attending USF, I completed my BA in English and MA in Literature. My interests include outdoor activities like golf, backpacking, and camping. Last May, I spent a week with my sons in the Smokies. I'm also an Apple Developer and do have games in the App Store. My career history includes years as a systems analyst in the defense industry and five years as an assistant golf professional. During the teaching portion of my career I have taught English Comp at USF, UT, and SPC.
