Geoff was raised in the suburbs of Chicago through most of his early years.   His parents were both clinical psychologists, and during the growth of their family (a total of 5 children), they chose to enter school psychology as a way to stay closer to their family.

During this time, Geoffýs family opened up and maintained a number of nursery schools in the suburbs north of Chicago called "Noah's Ark".   Although young at the time, Geoff was significantly influenced by both his parents psychological orientation and commitment to early childhood development, as well as his family's involvement with pre-school education.

Not surprisingly, as an undergraduate, Geoff enrolled in courses in the pursuit of a bachelorýs degree in psychology.  In addition, he put himself through school with scholarships, loans, and part-time work.  In 1985, Geoff graduated summa cumlaude from the University of South Florida with a BA in Psychology.  In 1990, Geoff completed his Masters degree, and in 1996 he successfully defended his doctoral work and was awarded a Ph.D. in Psychology.

Since his graduation, Geoff has also continued with one of his lifelong passions, which is education.  Currently, he is an adjunct professor at St. Petersburg College in Saint Petersburg, Florida. In this capacity, he teaches Psychology and Technology Management Courses both online and in the classroom.  And, as of this year, Geoff has decided to return to the University setting as a student, as he begins the pursuit of his Masterýs of Information Systems and Masters of Business Administration degrees.

Geoff expects that his passion for learning will allow him to continue both teaching at the University and consulting at the Corporate level.   He hopes to be able to blend his expertise in the training and support of technology with his current work in his graduate studies to the benefit of his clients and students combined.
