Dr. Sachin Gupta

Dr. Sachin Gupta brings a diverse and accomplished background in biomedical sciences, research, and education. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology, a Master of Science in Biochemistry, and a Ph.D. in Immunopathology. In addition, he earned his MBA from the University of Miami, combining scientific expertise with strategic leadership.
Dr. Gupta spent seven years as a researcher at the University of Miami School of Medicine, specializing in Microbiology and Immunology. His groundbreaking work focused on the development of cancer and HIV vaccines, resulting in publications in high-impact scientific journals and the awarding of two patents.
Following his research career, he served for over a decade in laboratory administration at BayCare Health System, where he gained extensive experience in clinical operations and healthcare management. His transition into academia has been equally impactful—he has been a dedicated faculty member at St. Petersburg College for the past 11 years.
Dr. Gupta is deeply committed to student success and believes in the reciprocal philosophy of "Learn and Teach." He strives to create an inclusive and motivating learning environment, recognizing the unique challenges and aspirations of each student.
