I have worked in various industries in corporate America for twenty years. I spent the last 12 years as a speciala education teacher in Hillsborough County School District. I have also worked one year as an administrator in an alternative middle and high school in Pinellas County, and two years as a Drop-out Prevention Specialist at Operation PAR, working with middle school students also in Pinellas County.
I have been teaching at Saint Petersburg College since January 2008, but since 2011 in the College of Education. I teach the following courses:

• Introduction to Education
• Diverse Populations in Education
• Student Life Skills (SLS)

I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Saint Leo University, and a Master of Education degree from National-Louis University, plus 45  post-graduate credit hours from Argosy University.

I enjoy cooking, gardening, traveling, reading, surfing the Web and spending time with my husband George, an SPC Instructor on the Clearwater Campus, and our two dogs, Elvis and Cairo.
