I have worked in education and in information technology for many years now and am currently working as an adjunct instructor. I have Masters degrees in Mathematics from USF and in Computer Science from Colorado State University. But I've done a lot of different types of work, from making wetlands maps using aerial photography to testing software to teaching high-school and college math classes. I like to read and travel, ride bikes (the pedal kind and the really fast kind both), play music and play chess. 

I like to think of teaching as coaching, and as with any endeavor, there is always the possibility of failure. Math is no exception. Math isn't easy, and everyone reaches a moment when they simply can't make sense of a problem or a concept, or can't recall the information they need. Even math teachers have faced this! So what any coach will tell you is, learn from your mistakes and try again. Don't give up. And that is how I want you to approach the subject. Throw yourself at it like you are competing for your life. And when you need help or guidance, come to me. I'll be able to get you over those hurdles.
