I  was born Salisbury, North Carolina and grew up in Morgantown, West Virginia.  I have lived and worked in Ann Arbor, Michigan;  West Chester, Pennsylvania;  Chapel Hill and Greensboro, North Carolina;  North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and St. Petersburg, Florida!  I enjoy sailing, snow skiing, scuba diving, the beach and working out!  I received my undergraduate degree from West Virginia Unversity and my advanced Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Elon Univeristy in North Carolina.  My time in St. Petersburg Florida has been centered around continuing to grow my clinical and teaching skills.  I have held past positions wtih All Children's Hospital and Select Medical Corporation and current positions with St. Petersburg College,  Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with specialty areas in brain Injury and spinal cord Injury on both acute and rehab teams and Clinical Rehab Lead with Greystone Medical specializing in multiple rehab areas .  I have worked hard to become a well rounded clinician and instructor by achieving clinical internship placements and positions with the Univeristy of North Carolina,  the University of Michigan, Mott Children's Hospital, Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital and West Virginia Univeristy Hospitals.  Teaching and being a part of the wonderful journey that students take to find and achieve their own educational and personal goals is something I take great pride in!
