I am originally from Ecuador, a small country in South America. We have the Galapagos Islands, beautiful beaches, rain forest, mountains, incredible food, and most importantly very good people.
I finished a degree in Civil Engineering in 1992. Then I studied a Masters Degree in Enterprises Management. In 1998 I came to the United States and finished a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA). That was one of the most valuables experiences of my life. In 2013 I completed a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA).
I have taught Marketing, Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I, Intermediate Accounting II, Federal Taxation, Principles of Finance, Peachtree, Quick Books, and many levels of Algebra.
Teaching Philosophy:
I believe that the purpose of higher education is to teach students the necessary skills on how to think rather than what to think.
I like to see teaching as an opportunity to inspire others and empower them. As an instructor, it is my priority to enrich the learning process and make it an experience that will change my student’s lives for the better. I want them to “feel” the knowledge they get with their participation in my courses whether it is in my classrooms or on the online environment.
It is my teaching commitment to provide a learning environment that is fun and exciting but at the same time challenging. I LOVE TEACHING !!
