My educational background consists of a bachelor's degree in ESE with ESOL endorsement. In addition, I have received a master's degree in Reading. My own professional teaching philosophy is the belief that, in order to achieve success in my classroom, it is imperative for me  to be a life long learner and to never become outdated in the teaching profession. I believe that I must get to know each student as an individual and recognize that individual student's specific learning style, as well as the student's specific set of needs and goals. My philosophy in life is best summed up by a quote from Charles Swindoll.......Life is 10 percent what happens to you and 90 percent how you respond to it..........
