Jim Connolly has successfully completed his Doctoral Studies from Barry University in 2006 where he received his Ph.D. in Higher Education, Administration, and Leadership. Jim also received his Community College Certification in Higher Education from the University of Florida. He received his Master's Degree in Counseling from Edinboro State University of Pennsylvania. Jim has been published in several magazines related to his profession.
Dr. Connolly currently serves as the Director of Workforce and Professional Development at the EPI Center. Prior to Corporate Training Dr. Connolly served as the Electronic Campus Director at St. Petersburg College. Before joining SPC he had been a Business Development Manager for Adobe Systems where he was responsible for key accounts such as Hewlett-Packard and Cap Gemini Ernst Young. His responsibilities included negotiating Software Distribution and Systems Integration Agreements, and developing the go-to-market business plan with both companies.
Prior to joining Adobe, Jim was Senior Director of Mobile Operations at JetForm Corporation. This opportunity occurred through the acquisition of Joey Technologies Incorporated, a company he founded and sold to JetForm.
He has taught and coached at both the high school and college levels where he spent the first 15 years of his professional career. In addition, Jim was the Video/Computer Consultant to the "Dream Team" at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.
Mr. Connolly is involved in his community and he helped a local church raise $2 million for a new educational facility. He is a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House and has received the Northeast High School Volunteer Appreciation Award.
As a young man, Jim earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
