Liza Cobos

Liza Cobos started working in the hospitality industry in Puerto Rico during high school. She attended Loyola University New Orleans where she obtained a B.B.A in Management. After several years of working in the mortgage banking industry she decided return to hospitality and pursue a M.S. in hospitality and tourism management from UCF’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management. Her work experience in the lodging industry spans from activities coordinator, front desk, hostess, and revenue management in upscale and midscale hotels. Her professional experience includes work in corporate level positions with global companies including Wyndham Worldwide. She recently graduated with her PhD in Hospitality Management from Rosen College of Hospitality Management. Liza enjoys sharing her experience and knowledge with her students and helping them achieve their professional goals.
She has a Sato, a rescue dog from Puerto Rico, that loves to keep her busy by going on as many walks as he can.
