I am an experienced senior compliance executive at IBM Corporation with over thirty years of extensive information technology, business management, and human resources experience. I am presently serving a three-year term on the Alumni Board of Directors for James Madison University.

My educational background can be considered diverse in which I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University (1983), located in Harrisonburg, Virginia focusing in the areas of Education and Computer Science. I have also been awarded advance degrees from George Mason University (1990), located in Fairfax, Virginia, Johns Hopkins University (1996), located in Baltimore, Maryland, and University of Phoenix (2009), located in Phoenix, Arizona. At George Mason University, the degree earned was a Master of Education focusing in the areas of Curriculum and Instruction, Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Science degree specializing in Applied Behavioral Sciences and Organization Development, and at the University of Phoenix, a Doctor of Management degree concentrating in Organizational Leadership. In addition, I have attained a Masters Certificate in Project Management at the George Washington University (1999), located in Washington, D.C.

As a resident of Clearwater Beach (Sand Key), Florida, I enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, gardening, swimming and barbecuing with family, friends and colleagues. Expanding on my love for the outdoors, I have a vacation home, for partial year enjoyment, in Whitefish, Montana with excellent mountain range views of the Rocky Mountains and Glacier National Park.

As I continue to progress through my career, my passion remains with the management profession focusing on higher level learning regarding organizational leadership. My desire to expand my knowledge depth in this profession is not motivated by the financial rewards but rather the intellectual advances. I am looking forward to achieving my goals while contributing positively to the academic community.
