Professional Experience

2008 – Present – Senior Principal Cardno Ltd. (CDD in AUX 200).  Upon the merger of TBE Group with Cardno Ltd., I was responsible for P&L, sales, marketing, operations, production, and personnel for the water resources/asset management business unit from 2008 – 2010. The business unit had gross revenue of $7 million per year. We were required to meet “earn-out performance” metrics after the merger. I was a member of the Risk Management committee.  I have been part time since August, 2010.

1984 – 2008 – Senior Vice President and stockholder for TBE Group, Clearwater, FL. TBE Group was a start-up business in 1984. I was the third employee. I developed the accounting system, both corporate and project, which is still in use today. I was the financial officer for four years. From 1988 to 1996, in addition to being responsible for profit and loss, production, and operations of the civil engineering business unit, I supervised the marketing and personnel departments. The gross revenue for which I was responsible grew to $15 million per year.  Also, I was a director of the firm’s 401(k) plan. From 1991 to 2008, I was the leader of the Project Management Process Improvement Team. Four of the business unit leaders were my direct reports prior to creating new business units in the company.
