My educational background includes a

• Master of Science degree in Information Security from Lewis University (an NSA/DHS NATIONAL CAE IN CYBER DEFENSE DESIGNATED INSTITUTION)
• Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Services, Operations and Systems (FSOS) from the University of Tampa. This degree is a combination of computer science and finance. 
• Professional certifications for GCIH (GIAC Certified Incident Handler), GCPY (GIAC Certified Python Coder) and a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).  
• Board Member (Secretary) for the Tampa Bay Chapter of (ISC)2 and a primary organizer of the BSides Tampa security conference.

I have a love for learning so even in my "spare time" I am contantly teaching myself whatever my interest is at the time.  Right now my primary interests include fun with Arduino and making IoT devices.  Additionally I volunteer my time in other ways to help the community that is unrelated to my interests in technology.  I feel this helps to give my life some balance.
