I am a Florida native who graduated from the University of Central Florida with my Bachlors degree in Finance with a minor in Real Estate. I went on to graduate from Stetson University College of Law with my Juris Doctorate and a Master of Business Administration.

During my time at Stetson, I earned awards for my trial advocacy and for the top grade in both Contracts and Property Law. I was also awarded the William F. Blews Pro Bono Award and had the honor of participating in the Stetson Honors program. I began my courtroom education as an intern for the Honorable Elizabeth Kovacevich in the U.S. Federal Middle District Court of Florida, where I contributed to multiple published opinions of the Court.

During my legal education, I developed a love for the courtroom. I began my legal career as an Assistant State Attorney for State Attorney’s Office in Pinellas and Pasco counties. While continuing to hone my courtroom skills I litigated over 80 jury trials. During my time as an Assistant State Attorney, I prosecuted crimes ranging from DUI, DUI Manslaughter, Vehicular Homicide, Sexual Battery, Child Sex cases, Murder, complex Drug Trafficking, Money Laundering, and Racketeering cases. I was prvilidged to head a unit that handled complex criminal prosecution targeting orginized gangs and drug trafficking orginizations.

I began my teaching carrer here at SPC in 2019. I teach, or have tought, in the fields of Federal Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Evidence, and IT Security Law.

When not in the courtroom or the classroom, I enjoy spending my time with my two children and rooting on my UCF Knights!
