Educational and Work Background
I am a graduate of St. Petersburg College with both my A.S. in EMS and an A.A. in Liberal Arts. I attended the University of Florida was awarded my B.S. in Telecommunication in June of 2007 and my Master's in Public Health from the University of South Florida 2012. I also had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Cambridge in England in 2006 and was awarded a Class 1-1 (American 4.0) in the subject of 20th Century British History.
I have been a Paramedic since 2000 and EMT-B since 1997. I have worked for Sunstar EMS since 1998. I am also an ITLS instructor, BLS instructor, PEPP instructor, and an ACLS instructor.
Interests
Any Gators sports especially Gator Football. I am a Tampa Bay Rays Fan and a Chicago Cubs Fan (I am a St Petersburg native and my Wife is from Chicago but she is mostly a SOX fan). I am also a die hard Buffalo Bills fan and have been since I was 7 years old (1983). For hockey it's only the Tampa Bay lightning and Arena Football it's the Tampa Bay Storm (the Chicago Rush is pretty good too). Aside from sports I am an amature Documentary film producer I have producer and shot two short documentaries and you may just see me with a camera around campus. I love movies and fishing when I get the chance. My music tastes vary based on my mood that might be the way to tell if it is a good day or bad day.
I can always make time for student questions and please by all means any criticisms you may have. My office hours are posted but not set in stone, since I also work full time here as the Lab Coordinator I can usually be found somewhere on campus.
