Peter Bagley
I am a retired Information System Analyst from the U.S. Army where I served for over 21 years, and my last duty station was Ft Shafter, Hawaii. I have lived in Tampa, FL for the last 18 years. I am currently a Defense Contractor working with the Special Operations Command at MacDill AFB as a Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer. In my current position, I help to ensure that they have network security and proper vulnerability management for their mobility systems globally.
I have over 36 years of IT experience and over 35 + years of teaching at many levels. I currently teach as an Adjunct Cybersecurity Professor for the University of Phoenix, St Petersburg College, and as a consultant teaching several security courses with many local IT training facilities with my consulting company. I have a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Information System Technology from the University of Maryland, Project Management Certification from Villanova University, and many industry certifications from ISC2 Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), EC-Counsel (Certified Ethical Hacker, and Certified Hacker Forensic Investigator), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA (Security +, Network +, A+, and CTT+), to name a few.
My wife and I have been married for over 37 years and have two lovely daughters. I enjoy many types of music, sports, and traveling with my family in my spare time.
