Hi!

My name is Valerie and I would like to share with you some information about myself.

My educational background began immediately following high school and included a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and a Master of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maryland. I have been in the dental hygiene profession since 1980!  I am currently enrolled in a Doctor of Education program, with a concentration in Higher Education Administration. I am passionate about teaching and find it very rewarding working with students. 

Outside the classroom, my interests include exploring Florida with my husband and children. We love all of the sports, theme parks and the beautiful beaches and water Florida offers. There is so much to do here! Even after being here eight years, we have not made a dent in our exploration of Florida!
