Having the courage of your convictions will help you boldly meet today's educational challenges.  My goal as an educator is to motivate others to take action and reach their potential.  My aim is to provide satisfaction, solve problems, fill needs and find answers in a way that enhances and empowers those around me.  Providing a risk free environment in which all can attain their level of success is the basis of my approach to education.  It is my belief that the driving force behind student success is an effective curriculum that addresses all learning modalities.  Serving students by providing them with the proper tools needed for instruction is not only an honor, but also the most important skill I can offer students.  As an Adjunct instructor at SPC, I have been given the opportunity to mentor future educators, develop relevant and effective curriculum, model best teaching practices, and revitalize my love of teaching.  Effective educators empower and therefore insure effective students.
