St. Petersburg Collegiate High School - St. Pete/Gibbs Campus Application

Thank you for applying to St. Petersburg Collegiate High School at the St. Pete/Gibbs Campus.

Please see the SPCHS Application Process Handout provided in the Informational Session and posted on the website at spchs.spcollege.edu for detailed instructions. 

Step 1:  Attend an Informational Session.

Step 2:  Apply to St. Petersburg College (SPC). Once the application opens, select High School Programs student. You must create a password for your SPC Live email.

Step 3:  If you need to take the PERT (incoming 10th and 11th graders), register to take the PERT.  Check your PERT scores and other entrance criteria on the SPCHS website at spchs.spcollege.edu

Step 4:  Apply to SPCHS by completing and submitting this applicationon or before January 26, 2025.  If there are more applicants than openings a computerized lottery will be held to invite students into the program and create a waitlist. Students may apply after January 26, 2025 but will be considered late applicants. 

Private and Home Schooled students must email a transcript to Latavia Dempsey at dempsey.latavia@spcollege.edu on or before 3:30 p.m. on January 26, 2025.

Applicants selected via the random lottery process will receive a letter of invitation on or before March 1, 2025. Students on the waitlist will be invited to attend in the order they appear on the waitlist for their selected campus as an opening occurs over the summer.

Just a reminder that the application process for St. Petersburg Collegiate High School is separate from the Pinellas County Schools application process so there is no risk in applying.  Thank you for your application!
