Welcome Veterans!
If you have a new idea for a business or
you would like to work on your current start-up,
this free program is for you!
To help translate the skills learned in the military to entrepreneurship, Veterans Florida and SPC have joined forces to offer the Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program, an 8-week cohort-based learning initiative that highlights the fundamentals of launching and growing a business.
The program will operate in two cohorts. Both cohorts will run for 8 weeks, meeting for 3 hours each week in the evenings. The first program cohort will run every Tuesday evening at SPC's Clearwater Campus between 1/21/25 and 3/11/25 and the second will run for 8 weeks every Monday evening between dates TBD in March-May in St. Petersburg at The Greenhouse.
To be elidgible for the program, you must be an honorably discharged veteran of the United States military, an active duty member of the United States military within 12 months of separation or retirement, a member of the Florida National Guard or United States Reserves, or the spouse of an honorably discharged veteran of the United States military.
Completing this application in it's entirety will allow SPC to verify your elidgibility. Failure to produce a copy of your DD214 clearly indicating honorable dischange will result in ineligibility.
Please note that this is an application form and not a guarantee for program participation. Program staff will be in touch about next steps once your application is reviewed.
