Speer First Step Scholarship

The Speer First Step Scholarship target residents in South St. Petersburg. The resident must have an enrollment interest in an SPC Workforce Program to pursue employment or career advancement. The non-degree programs chosen by SPC Workforce, Community, and Corporate Partnerships for First Step Scholarship are connected to employment opportunities, which have been identified as leading to mid/high wage employment and/or in an in‐demand industry. By focusing on related training in these areas, residents are more likely to be able to move into employment shortly after completing their training. Eligible programs are included on the Workforce website: https://spcollege.augusoft.net. Please click on Allied Health, Business, Certificate, IT (Technology), Manufacturing & Utilities, or Supply Chain Management for the program options.  For additional information, please visit our Workforce Education Catalog at https://stpe.co/workforcecatalog.
