Paralegal Essential Functions for the SPC Paralegal Studies Program
Essential functions are criteria that are necessary and essential for optimal participation in the Program and for employmet upon graduation. These standards include the knowledge, skills, and attributes necessary for successful mastery of program content. Addititonally, the criteria designed prepares students for critical roles in the legal industry. The PLA programs are fully-approved by the American Bar Association which mandates the highest standards of legal education. Because the Paralegal Studies Degree or Certificate signifies that the holder is prepared for employment in the delivery of legal services, graduates must be able to perform a broad variety of administrative and community settings.
