Graduated from Gulf High SChool, NPR in 1971--3rd in class; played F-Horn in band, golf team

Attended FloridaSouthern College 1971-1975. Graduated cum laude with BA in History in 1975. Major history, double minor: Secondary Education and broad field social studies. Played F-Horn in concert band

Attended Penn Steate University 1975-1977. Graduated with MA in History in 1977.  Areas of concentration: 19th/20th century European diplomatic history; Colonial American History; Geography
