My educational background includes a BBA from Western Michigan University in 1968 and an MBA in Marketing from Central Michigan University in 1979. I served in the USAF from August 1968 to August 1972.
I arrived in Florida in 1982, and spent 20 years in the convience store industry with several companies. Most of the time I worked as a store manager, but did on two occasions hold the position of district manager, with supervisory duties over 12 stores.
In 2002, I became a real estate sales associate, working with a broker who specialized in residential sales. I also began working as an instructor with a local propriatory real estate school. In 2004 I became a real estate broker. Over the next 8 years, I taught just over 4,000 students in prelicense courses as well as post license, broker pre-license and post license, as well as continuing education courses. I hold current Florida Instructor Permits for Real Estate.
I began working for St. Petersburg College during fall term 2010. In addition to Real Estate classes I also teach General Business, Principles of Management, and Supervisory Management classes.
