I am an adjunct instructor in the Health Information Technology program here at St. Petersburg College. Prior to teaching here, I taught undergraduate public health and biological sciences courses at Northern Arizona University. Additionally, I have worked in healthcare, social services, public health, and medical research (pharmacology & neuroscience and HIV T-cell biology) for a number of years. Educationally, I earned my masters degrees in pharmacology & toxicology and public health at Michigan State University (Go Spartans!) and my undergraduate degrees are in microbiology and community health promotion. Both bachelors were earned at Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University respectively. Currently, I am preparing to apply to medical school and hope to start in 2019.
