Laura Smith received her B.S. in Elementary/Early Childhood at the University of South Florida and her M.S. in Reading/Language Arts at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She received her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida.  Dr. Smith teaches REA 0007, REA 00017, REA 0056 and REA 1105 in a traditional classroom setting as well as blended and online.  Dr. Smith also enjoys teaching SLS 1101 The College Experience.  Dr. Smith is the academic chair of Communications at the Tarpon Springs Campus.
