My educational background includes a BS/MS in microbiology from St. John's University in New York City, NY and a PhD in molecular biology from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. Teaching is my passion and I have been teaching microbiology as an adjunct for over twenty years in both Pennsylvania and Florida. I work part-time as a research scientist at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System. My research focuses on the role of inflammation in the development of bladder and prostate cancer.
